Founder & CEO, Savvy Communication Studio

Savannah Couch is a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Savvy Communication Studio, a private-pay practice specializing in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and motor speech disorders. She works with children and families across Oregon, offering mobile, in-person, and virtual therapy centered on connection, autonomy, and meaningful communication.

Savannah's background includes several years as a travel SLP, supporting students from pre-K through high school with complex communication needs across multiple school districts, with extensive experience serving autistic children and their families. Her approach is rooted in neuroaffirming, play-based practice. She meets each child where they are, rather than pushing them toward a one-size-fits-all standard of "typical" communication.

Savannah founded Savvy Communication Studio out of a desire to do AAC and speech therapy differently, with more time, more nuance, and more respect for each child and their family. She's passionate about helping families feel confident and connected, whatever that looks like for them.
