About

Explore Tualatin Valley is a not-for-profit destination marketing and destination organization (DMO), which markets Washington County, Oregon, as a tourism destination. Part of ETV’s role is to identify and market to out-of-area-visitors, with the mission to increase overnight visitation in Washington County. Visitors to Washington County include: business, leisure and group travelers, meetings, sports and event planners, and tour operators, among others. As a DMO, Explore Tualatin Valley is charged with reaching these audiences via marketing initiatives, which includes advertising, public relations, online marketing and social media, tourism research and other activities, as well as stakeholder and tourism development, group tour and tourism sales, sports sales and more.

Explore Tualatin Valley is an inclusive non-membership destination organization dedicated to marketing and promoting Washington County as a desirable location for business and leisure travel, meetings and events, and sporting events. It markets Washington County as "Tualatin Valley."

As a not-for-profit organization, Explore Tualatin Valley is fully funded by transient lodging tax (TLT), a tax paid by visitors who stay in Washington County. Partnership opportunities are offered to tourism-related businesses at no cost.
