Easter Seals Beaverton - Connecting Community Program Manager

With the special collaboration of:

Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce and Impact Beaverton

Vanessa Green will initiate this open table with important information about who people with disabilities really are, about their talents, their concerns and dilemmas, and the questions people often have in mind before employing someone with a disability. She will also be talking about upcoming workforce trends and how the need to hire employees has been changing during the times of Covid.

She’ll share the myths and truths about ADA and employment. Will explain about the benefits for the employer when hiring these talents.

With a special intervention of a vocational rehabilitator counselor invited by Easter Seals

Throughout the event will be able to discuss and ask questions.

During the coffee break you:

Will be able to interact with the different guests, businessmen and the general public, exchange impressions.

After the coffee break:

The Chamber of Commerce and Impact Beaverton will have special guests who will speak about their experiences hiring this capable talent.

To finish, Vanessa will continue explaining about reasonable accommodation and will close by clarifying concerns and dilemmas of the employer and the employee.
